I am a psychotherapist, a licensed marriage & family therapist (MFT# 52696). I have been working with people and their health and bodies for over 20 years. I am an adjunct faculty member in the graduate program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. I have a private practice in Hillcrest.
I work with individuals (adolescents & adults), couples and groups both men and women of diverse ages and backgrounds; specializing in LGBT men & women, Transitional Aged Youth (16-25), and others who are seeking help in creating the lives they want, working on a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. Some of these challenges may be depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, coming out, sexuality, sensuality, trauma, life transitions & personal growth.
My approach is always a mutual effort, meeting clients where they are in life, and helping clients strive to reach the growth and change that they hope to achieve.
I integrate wisdom from the East, West and native traditions into daily life, clinical practice and teaching. Bringing together body and mind to be in service to help heal from pain and opening to growth; these are driving intentions of my work and life. It is my intention to help my clients grow in ways that increase their happiness and the quality of their relationships to self, others and life.
